Meadow Lake

This lake was built by the golf course for irrigation. Originally Meadow Lake had 13 – 17 water wells draining into it for irrigation storage. When Forest Ridge development started, the lake was in a Meadow, thus the name. The waterfalls and circulatory pump were installed by Forest Ridge development when the Courtyards II neighborhood was built. Jogging trails were also added during this development. Forest Ridge stocked Meadow Lake with donated fish including bass, perch, and catfish. Forest Ridge development built spawning beds for the fish to propagate.
